Did you set up the curtain wall door parameters as a "Shared parameter?"

those are the steps i did to create the parameter.. and I moved it to other for the store front door properties.. but the schedule still is not filling in the parameter. is it because its a storefront schedule and the family is a door in the curtain wall?

I may try what? I already did and the parameter is not reporting in the schedule. It shows in the curtain wall door, but not the curtain wall or schedule

I know how to creat a door schedule.. thats not what I am trying to do. I am trying to have the door size in my storefront/curtain wall schedule.
My curtain walls are walls, not curtain sytems.. the doors have a parameter so the size is reading in the properties of the door, but not in the wall and not in the schedule.. is there a way I can do this.
Thanks.

Here is my way of doing the door schedule:
We say 100 doors for a building, Each door has a unique number. Each has its own glazing, hardware group, so on so forth.
You may have only three door types, each type has its dimension, such as, 3’-0” x 7’-0”, PR 3’-0” x 7’-0”, 3’-6” x 7’-0”. Then your door schedule for this building will have 100 door with three types. I just use the door types (which field is a “Text” just as the hardware groups) with the heading “Door Size” to populate the door schedule. The actual door size might be 4’-0”x 8’-0”, but the door type is 3’-0” x 7’-0”, which will be shown on the door schedule.
The same thing apply to the storefronts. I have 20 storefronts with 20 different sizes, but only three door sizes, 3’-0” x 7’-0”, PR 3’-0” x 7’-0”, and 4’-0” x 7’-0”.
All 20 storefronts are shown on legend, elevations with dimensions. However, there are only three types on the door schedule, the same way as the regular doors.
Revit is far from perfect, we just have to find a way to suit our needs.

in the family you should make a family parameter (instance/reporting) and apply it to the dimension you want. Next, Create a shared parameter in the door family and put the reporting parameter name as the formula for the shared parameter, then create a project parameter in project using that same shared parameter and apply it to both the door and walls category, then you should be able to have it scheduled.
