i CREATED A NEW SCHEDULE BUT INSERT DATA ROW IS DIMMED  WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

you can only add data rows to schedules that DO NOT schedule building components (ie. doors, windows, etc.).

What is it you are trying to schedule? you can add blank rows that are fillable if you right click the header and use rows-->insert.
