I have a Revit 2018 drawing with some columns I would like to delete. Problem is that I can't highlight the columns or a section of the roof. This is true in the floor plan, sections, and 3D. Never had this problem before.

One suggestion: if anyone else reading this has experienced something similar, it might help to post which version of Revit you’re using (and whether it’s LT or full), since behavior can vary.

I had a similar issue last year with Revit 2019 - couldn't select certain structural elements. Turned out some columns were locked in a workset or had their visibility settings messed up. Try checking your worksets tab and visibility/graphics overrides first. Sometimes switching views or using the selection filter helps too. Hope this works for you, Carlton!
