Hi everyone.  I am working from home as of the moment due to the pandemic.  I just would like to know if is it possible to create a local file here in my pc at home when the central file is in the office.  If possible, how is it being done basically and the standard way.

In our office we worked from home during the pandemic for about 18 months ad we used remote desktop to over our VPN to remote into our computers at work. This meant we were using the machines at the office and then essentially it was just seeing that screen on our home computer.

Made things a lot easier for access to our server.

The other option is to VPN into the server but then you would just be using the capabilities of the computer you are using at home which might not be that capable or built for revit use.

Third option is to use Autodesk 360 and have everything on their cloud service but that is not free. Autodesk had a promotion at the beginning of the pandemic where they gave everyone with an Autodesk subscription free use of 360 for several months.
