Hi, I am trying to do a preliminary solar/view study on a friend's property (pre survey) and I managed to get data in this format (also in .csv) from the Canadian gov't:

• Data source : Canadian Digital Elevation Model
• Product(s) : Digital Elevation Model, Shaded relief, Slope map, Point data
• Output format : DEM : GEOTIFF, Derived Products : GEOTIFF, Point Data : XYZ
• Reference coordinate system : NAD83(CSRS) (EPSG:4617)
• Resolution : 0.75 arc seconds

Is there any way to convert this into what is required to make a toposurface in Revit and get it into the correct location (roughly).

A million thanks if anyone can help me with this!

Thanks, this helped!

I found a way to convert the NAD83 to UTM and those coordinates made the topo surface.  Hard to do without GIS but there is a way.
