Well, it sure feels like Autodesk purchased Revit in order to kill it. I bought Revit almost two years ago, just before they were bought out. It was $1,200 a seat. I'm a little two person firm, so it seemed pricey, but there wasn't anything like it and it seemed we would be able to do larger projects more easily. I just got off the phone with my reseller. He said Autodesk charges $5,000 for a new seat. There is no telephone support included at that price. We were looking into buying another seat for a contract drafter who will work from him. $5,000 is just not possible. What is Autodesk thinking? Is everyone simply accepting the price jump, or are they jumping ship to some alternative? At that rate, I can get AutoCAD LT, and SketchUP3d, and a few other toys to play with. --Colin

wow, I had no idea that it was that high...is that for one year? I don't deal with purchasing the seats here, I just use the program...lol.
