Its an extreme emergency my project is due monday and i need to find out how to make an italian clay tiled roof like in the following picture

are you going to be rendering it or just shaded view?

Rendering it .. But if a shaded view is the best you can do that would be great .. this is the final project so to have it rendered would add a few the my grade. Thanks for the reply

I would probably try to do an image map then. Find a photograph of the tile you want to represent and map it to the roof material. I would not try to model the roof. You will find links to several websites where you can get image maps in the "Links" section of Revitcity.
