I cant get the rated wall to work using the filters, .pat files and visibility graphics routine. Tried differed scales in the pattern, different orientations, course display but it comes out solid or fine. I need the dashed wall type. What am I doing wrong?

Use a solid fill. Red, green, orange, yellow. A wall is tiny in cut plan. Filling it with a tiny pattern will just end up as a blur.
Check you have the filter set up correctly. Are walls category selected in drop down on right?
