Wondering how to approach the levels in a Split Level Ranch
Does it work better to have four different floor levels drawing directly on the level, this would probably employ the use of overlays to see the relevant adjacent level.
or
does it work better to have two different floor levels and use the base offset tool to draw the other two levels??
I think I'd have to use a large plan region with only two floor levels?
Pro's / Cons??

4 or less I would create a level to each one. if it's more than 4 it will start to be mesy, too many levels in each one of your sections and elevations (though you can hide in view) I tend to just offset.

I did have four levels and that didn't seem like too much of a problem.
Thank you

How do you treat split levels or minor level changes? |
