I have a linked stair inside of a project unit file that in turen is linked to a larger hotel file (this is a large hotel project)
I have created variations the the stair on different worksets.
I the loades unit should show the workset state of the nested stair (closed or open etc.) this is true on the initial load of the unit file. However If I modify the worksets int the unit and save the unit file, then reload the unit int the hotel file the worksets seem to be "stuck" with the initial load state.
question:
is there a way to "clear" the workset and have the setting in the nested file become curent state?
PS
Removing the link and relinking isnt a good soulition since there are so many instances of the unit.

I don't really understand what you are doing or why. Seems that you have just made yourself a lot of problems. The stair should be in your project file. If you want different variations, learn to use design options.
