Hello all,
I am a fire services designer and am trying to place a ceiling access panel/hatch into my model.
I am using Place Component on the architectural tab however, Revit is not recognising any ceilings and my cursor is a circle with a line through it.
Does anybody have any advice on how to place these?
Thank you in advance.

Is your access panel ceiling hosted?
Do you really have a ceiling?
What view are you using to place this?
Are there phases in your project?
Is the ceiling in your model or linked?
