I am just wondering if it is possible to show door swing with different angles other than 90 degree open, in floor plan, like 45 or 60 degree open?
If so, could someone give an overview of the process.
Any directions would be greatly appreciated!

Go through the in-built tutorials. Last time i checked there were tutorials on created doors with adjustable swings. But basically all you need to do is add an angular dimension parameter (I do its as an instance parameter).
HTH.

Yes you need to simply add a parameter for the swing to the plan view of the family.
Attached is a family that allows one to choose the angle.

thanks guys for your quick answers....we will give it a shot.
We were thinking also to make different plan reference and assign a parameter angle to these.
We will see...

Hi, i have been having the worst time trying to accomplish this. everytime i change the angle, the rectangle that symbolizes the door in plan completely falls apart... what step am i missing? I have the rectangle constrained with the door width and the door thickness. any advise would be wonderful thank you

Is It possible to add a Parameter for a door Family That allows it to display either open or closed in plan and elevation. The Type of Door I created is a Parametric Industrial Sliding door, much like you would find as an entrance to a Machine shed. I would Like to Use the Horizontal flip arrows to simply move my door left or right but not change the location of the frame

I have built a door that shows open in plan and closed in elevation. Plan is annotation lines - no model element for door showing, elevation is model element showing. Your flipper should work just fine if you build the family right.

I have modified an existing family to have this adjustable swing. I works well and I have "flexed" it. It works for all angles except 90. (havent tried 0)
I cant understand why its misbehaving? Would anyone be kind enough to look at it to see if you know what I'm missing?

Did you follow the methodology shown in the families guide downloadable from the autodesk website? It shows how to do this.
