I haven't touched Revit in 3-4 years, and I'm relearning for a rendering at work. I'm getting back into it, remembering some things..but I can't get the materials to show ANYWHERE. I even uninstalled & reinstalled Revit and the Content Library.

Has anyone els had this problem?

The standard materials are typically referenced in your project depending on your project template.

Hi WW, thanks for your response! I understand that, but I still can't get the materials window to show up! I've tried the Windows Registry trick and reinstall and that won't help.

You do not access the material library directly, it typically is never modified.  You can always create new libraries but typically all changes are made to your templates and project files.
