plotting out to d size sheet, not that that matters. 1. Object lines defining the edges of interior walls will be missing for portions of the line, but the internal wall shading is still present. ?? Addittional walls show same, anomaly kind of follows the "y" access, but not for the entire plan. 2. elevations showing lap siding appear to have an overlay, no apparent rhyme or reason in terms of location. There just sporadic in location, but shows up about six times. The overlays: One is blank with no lines. They are different sizes One appears to have a different scale siding pattern, but it may be residual lines from somewhere else in the drawing. One shows up partially obscuring the front steps I'm not aware of any regions being placed on the elevations. Any clues????

It seems that I'm not able to place shutters in these areas where the anomaly occurs. Since I'm not sure what the anomaly is, I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence.

Relative to your plan view, I had a similar experience where wall hosted families were blanking out wall lines because in the family the solid model elements were set to visible in plan. I corrected this by going into the offending families and in a plan view anything that is solid has to be selected and "visibiliites" need to be turned off for plan views. Then put in line work in the floor plan view. As to the elevations, I'm also wondering if it's not a family issue, such that some garbage is coming through the wall. You might cut a section at the offending location to see if there's anything poking through the wall that might interfere with the surface pattern.
