Is it possible to have the sun path in the anamations?

I can save a single image with the path visible but in the export sun study the path is not visible.

Yes. get a 3D view, set display to correct visual style and turn on shadows, click on visual style and select graphic display options, click lighting and click sun settings, change to single day, choose preset - say summer solstice, change location to correct place of site, tick sunrise to sunset option, change time interval to 15secs, and set correct level for here you are in the model. CLick ok and return to 3d view. Now got to R button, Export, images and animations, solar study, change settings to suit your time period ( you may need to run video and rerun it and change these settings to get them right) , tick include time and date stamp to show time and date in video, click ok and choose where to place video. and ok and you are done.

Yes, all of that is good. However when I view the anamation the sun path object is not there.

I have a great anamation and if I have the time stamp on I know the time, but I like the sunpath to graphically show that information.

Nah mate, I don't think you can do that in Revit. You could do it in Enscape addin though.
