i have all my structural framing family material cut pattern the same (dark gray). my wall patterns are set to a light gray. when the two interact the wall seems to take precedence. how do i get the structural framing family to be the dominate item in the section? attached are PDF's of examples for the above

join tool doesnt seem to work with structural framing families

hi
option 1
try using chnage join order
option 2 - i assume that you made the cut line wieght smaller than the strctural framing cut line
