When you copy monitor the linked structural columns into an arch'l model originally it places the column position, height and rotation verbatim. However if / when the linked structural column changes it's rotation and height and you do a coordination review it only recognizes the column x,y postion change. The rotation and height of the column is ignored completely. So you actually have to manually recognize any and all column height changes and then manually make those changes with that monitored column. Am I missing something or is that it ? Anyone shed some light on this process ?

Oof. that's a hole in the monitoring process.

I really disliked that whole process.  I mean, i get it.. but ... it causes some serious issues for us in our big project.  I eventually had to stop monitoring structural walls.

My favorite morning cup of coffee was when i discovered they decided to take their 13 story single column, and break it into 13 seperate 1 story columns.  *grumbles*

not just 1 column either.  Like 50 of them.

Your right dgcad ... where did I see 2015? ..... So it looks like it is a long time issue.

I think this needs to be posted again on the Autodesk pages....
