Is it me or is Revit completely void of any good piping components?

I see no long-radius carbon steel, or stainless steel.. which is industry default. And the elbows they do have have shorter bend radiuses than the short radius elbows REALLY have.

No ductile iron...

Even the pipe ODs of the stuff they DO have is wrong.

Anyone know where I can download proper families for this stuff?

I caved, I opened up the existing fittings, reverse engineered the family, and modified it to work.

However, I'm going to need to verify a bunch of fittings.

I've found that Fabrication for Revit is the way to go. But you need CADMEP to modify the services.

They have supports in there. By default, they have hangers, I have not dug into expanding upon that yet, but that's on my to-do list.

You CAN download things straight from the manufacturers too. But most supports that are posted up, are generally designed and built, and not purchased, so I'm thinking for those, you may be able to make families for those that you can connect, and stretch as you need.
