Revit 2017 - I cut my section place my rebar and then diemsion and tag. All looks good in course when I go to Fine the outline of my concrete

ssection turns to dashed lines.  I need it to stay continuous - can some one help with what is going on. Also can you control line weights in concrete sections.  Thank you - Byron

These are all VG issues that could be set in different places.

1. Object style setting - the first image shows different line settings for projection and cut elements in different categories at the project level.
2. View VG settings - the second image shows different line settings for projection and cut elements for different categories in this view.
3. Element over-rides -  the third view are element category over-rides. 
4. You can also over-ride by element individually in a view
5. You can add many of these to view templates.
