Hi, I am trying to make a tensile structure, but I'm having difficulties with making the shape of the sail. Does anybody know how I can make a surface which is curved in 2 ways?

Have a look at this one in the gallery: http://revitcity.com/gallery.php?action=view&gallery_id=132 Doing tensile structures with Toposurface found under Site in Revit can also be a possibility. Or importing the sail as a 3D-dwg-file?

thx Mr. GG It helps a bit. I'm just not sure how to draw 2 connected lines as a profile. Can you delete one after you finished? Or you need to make a void afterwards? I got some crazy architecture modelled in Rhino which I want to bring into Revit to see if the program can take really complex shapes. I'm not yet convinced that Revit can do these things easily. Maybe you have a better idea?

Use a blend... with curved profiles. Hopefully that will get you going in the right direction

cool, it works. But the blend needs to work with closed lines got to try some more things to see how i can apply materials to it and maybe get some windows or doors in. Lets say that I have a curved wall in 2 directions. Is it possible to make a curtain wall of it? Structurally spoken, it should be possible, its just very hard.
