I created our company's template from the default Structural Template in Revit.  In 3D views I cannot get the surface patterns to show up (specifically wall patterns).  This appears to be a default setting in the default revit structural template.  When I start a new project with the architectural template and copy/paste the wall the surface patterns are there.

Is there a setting that will enable surface patterns to show up within a model started from the structural template?

- The walls surface where the pattern should be is facing outward.

- I have verified that the wall patterns have not been overridden (either in object styles, visibility/graphics, or override graphics in view).

- I am using a model fill pattern.

Thank you!

I have just varified on two seperate versions of REVIT that in the Default 3D view, in the OOTB Structural Template file that Wall Surface Patterns are in fact Hidden. That sure would explain your situation so I'd tripple check the VV in your 3D view. See image.

Haha! I checked this like 5 times.  I keep highlighting 'Walls' and all the cells say Override..., which I thought meant they weren't overridden.  Just when I think Revit isn't playing by it's own rules I get put in my place.

Thank you!
