Hi guys, I've been lurking for a long time and I have hit a road block.. I would like to create a tag/annotation to show the span and directions of rafters. Usually I see in architectural drawings it is shown as 4 arrows. 2 pointing up and down and 2 pointing side to side to call out the rafter direction and span. I've searched what I can but the problem is I have no idea what it is even called. I tried to reverse engineer the family that comes with revit for the beam system tag. And even tried to look at the beam system tag here on revit city. I really just want something simple. Attached is an example of what I mean. What do people usually do when it comes to this. Create a family? or draw it manually each time? I attempted to make an annotation but it wouldn't let me add grips to it to adjust. I read somewhere We can't add grips to annotations? any help is appreciated Thanks!
