Morning everyone,

Firstly apologies if this is clearly explained elsewhere, I just didn't really know what to search for and my results didn't give me any help.

I'm starting to set up our companies first Revit title block and I'm at the stage where I'm adding labels for all the editable sheet information.

We have a situation where occasionally we are issued with a project number that the whole design team must use which will differ from our office internal project number so therefore we have 2 project number fields on our sheets.

I've added a project parameter for an "Internal project number" now I'm stuck as to how I get a label on a sheet to display that info? much like the OOTB project number label does.

I don't want it editable on each instance of the sheet as it's the same on all of them, if that makes sense?

Unfortunately I'm a complete Revit amateur so apologies if this is gibberish and I'd appreciate any answers in simple terms!  Transitioning from AutoCAD to Revit has been a complete struggle for me!

Cheers.

There are many helps on titleblocks here and elsewhere.

For your needs, you need a shared parameter that you load into your titleblock family and that you load into your project template under 'project parameters'.  Then using that template, you can assign your number and if you have done your titleblock family correctly, it will show up there.

So, research the HELP for 'SHARED PARAMETER' and Title blocks as well as some youtube videos.

Great to learn .... learning will help you with many other problems.
