I am using version Revit19; I can now longer download for the downloads directory. All I get is a text file - what am I doing wrong. Thanks - Byron

This has nothing to do with Revit. Downloads are a simple download to your computer and depends on your browser. READ the screens when you are going through the download process! They tell you exactly what to do.

i HAVE FOLLOWED THE SCREENS BUT SEEM TO PNLY GET TEXT FILES - THANKS bYRON

Try with other browser, Chrome, Firefox...

You DID NOT follow the screen instructions! One of the early screens says "If your browser is opening the file up as a text file, right click the link and select "Save Target As" (or similarily worded)." <<< HELLO!

well that was a bit aggressive and not helpful wwhub. the same has been doing the same for me and i did as you suggested before and after reading your poor response and the save as only give the .txt file option.

You are using Microsoft EDGE ?
Try with CHROME please.

Typhoon is giving instructions for those that can't read and follow written instructions - just use a different browser. For others, the instructions work ... after selecting "DOWNLOAD NOW" instead of clicking on the "Click Here", you right click on the "Click Here" and your browser will give you the option to do a "SAVE TARGET AS" or "SAVE LINK AS" or something similar depending on your browser.
...tired of holding hands.... Must be a generation thing!
