Hi,
I am new to Revit and I'm trying to design a roof for one of my projects and I have been struggling to make the corners right and the more I try the less I succeed. Could anyone let me know the answer to my problem please? Please see the attached pdf.

Use the 'Align Eaves' tool from within the roof sketch mode and when using Align Eaves select the Adjust Height' option. The reason it's happening is probably because you're mixing the 'Pick Walls' option with other sketching tools to create the roof.
