I made a door that has multiple ADA clearances that are nested within the family as detail items. I have two detail item families in the door, one push side and one pull side. I set up a detail item parameter that has a drop down list to select which type of family i want. I would like to set up either another parameter or formula to only be able select either push or pull side on each detail item drop down list. In another explanation of what im looking for, i would like each drop down list to only display either push or pull side - not both. I have attached pictures to illustrate what im talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If I'm understanding correctly, and I'm not certain I am, it sounds like you need a Yes/ No parameter applied to the detail families and then you can set up a type for each display situation you're trying to accomplish.
