I am trying to create a wall whereby the gable portion of the wall will have shakes and the portion from the roof plate down will have stone veneer.
Any recommendations on how to best accomplish this?

i would look at using a stacked wall as one option

I thought about the stacked wall option however the gable portion of the wall is automatically created by using the attach command.

why would that prevent you from using a stacked wall?
