It would be so nice to be able to set up multiple renderings to render sequentially overnight for example. One should be able to set up multible perspectives each with their settings before leaving the office for the day and returning the next morning to find them finished and saved to a designated location.

I concur ,as I leave teh renderings for the end of the day...I usually do have to be very pateint with my "Capture" in the morning as welll...not to mention crashing if I jar the mouse too much.
Anyway,...a good rendering schedule tool would be nice.

it is actually possible to write a journal file to do this. But backup everything before attempting it.

haha, how fast is your comp?
We have multiple copies of revit open, each rendering while we work on another open copy. We're running a 3.6 dual core processor and notice no slowdown at all with up to 4 copies open (3x rendering, working on the other). It pays to have a program running to keep your ram free but it all seems to work well. If you work on the inital file you had open, you can open multiple copies of the same file open and continue working unflustered.
We think the dual core feature is what makes such a load on the system possible, rendering slows nothing down at all. It really helps when it comes to four-day-long raytraced animations!
