I was making a simple project so I can introduce Revit to others.  I tried tagging a couple of adjacent rooms and one was recognized.  The other said it wasn't enclosed.  What am I overlooking? (Revit 2017)

  1. A wall may not reach the level the room is on.
  2. A wall may not be set to room bounding

I selected a wall and right clicked select all instances... all are from 1st floor to top plate and are room bounding.  Attaching to the roof shouldn't make a difference, should it?  I drew 4 new walls and those are recognized as a room when I tag.  Just can't figure out this situation.

But you didn't say that all of the walls around this room have room bounding turned on.

Still don'thave an answer.  I'm going to be introducing Revit to an AutoCad based firm that does Affordable Hoin a couplr of weeks.   I don't want to get stuck on something this basic.  I'd really appreciate any additional help.  Is there another reason that the room tag may not recognize a enclosed room bounding space as a room?
