I hope somebody is willing to do some experimenting by doing a material of a photo of a facade with a bit of the facade transparent.
See my experimenting with the facade of Notre Dame - a church in Paris. It is about 60 metres high. If your photo of the facade is 600 pixels high you have to scale the Y-Tile Size of the material to 60 and the material will function as a facade on a wall 60 meters high. But you also mostly have to Offset the material Horizontally in X to suit the wall.
But if you have a part of the photo transparent eg. between the towers of Notre Dame then Accurender turns? the material around the cube in a some obscure direction not just offsetting the material in X, I do not really understand the thinking behind this. Perhaps it is very simple just reading a bit. Someone who knows how to solve this? Having a good link to share?
