I have used Autocad for the past 17 or so years mainly for 2D draughting of M&E services alongside what engineers give me. Before i got the current job i noticed job requirements are focusing more on Revit skills than Autocad. So i really want to learn it. I dont have time at home after work to learn it and weekends are busy for me. So i want to take a week of to do a course or do saturdays.i have found to training centers in London. But unsure how to find out if thay are trustworthy. IS there a place i can find out if they are legit. I did an IT course in 2008 which was fraudulant so have been burned before.
thanks.
I have looked at
FIRST SCALE-https://www.revit-training-london.co.uk/
and
ACADEMY

hi,
fraudulant? you mean not Autodesk certified or the company was not legit?
i went from CAD to Revit (after 20yrs "guru" status in AutoCAD) in 2010...
everything helps, training course, yes, YouTube vids etc. by all means, but the best, training, over the shoulder, 1:1 !
REAL projects, and REAL problems, with REAL solutions...on site, youll never forgett that way...
+ be ready for much longer than a week. it needs more than that. every new project brings new
workarounds and smarter ways.
+ the whole AEC is emerging, even the experienced ones have to think twice how to do
a new project. what was cool and good yesterday, next week can be a "bad" method...
team up, if you can, with some Revit guy who knows more than you do.
hope you get there, it will be an effort, but you will be rewarded ! plenty !
NO ONE went back to CAD from BIM, at least i do not know of one
