Since you cant crop a drafting, and I want to bring in wall sections from autocad they were cropped, can I bring them into another type of "view" or is there a way around it.

The following are all ideas but I consider them to be bad....

1. All model views are cropable so you could create say a plan view way out in space, where it will not interfere with anything, to place your CAD,.
2. This one will cause you sheet nightmares.   A rectangle within a rectangle masking region creating a window.
