I have drawn my property line in CAD aligning it to true north (pointing vertically up). I linked the CAD file to a new archtiectural template in Revit. I rotated the true north to make project north point up (in true north view). Then I went to proejct north view and rotated the whole project to project north but the bearing orientation is not right. Instead of reading south east it reads south west all the time. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to correct it? I cannot proceed with the project with wrong bearings as sun direction and shadows will be wrong. This is the start of the project before drawing the walls etc. I only have the property line drawn.

Thank you in advance.

First question - Why did you do the property lines in CAD?  Revit's property line table is so easy to fill out and the bearings will always be right (as you enter them).

Property lines are dependent on what way they are drawn.

BTW - Watch this great video to learn how to control the project base point and survey base point.
