Can anyone suggest what I could do to create a sign which has multiple letters in it that is not connected to each other. I created the sign using solid mass extursions and it seems to work okay, but I would like to be able to adjust the scale of the sign at different locations and since the sign is created using a number of different masses scaling it requires that I repeat this for every letter. Is there an easier method? Thanks Gar

I'd still suggest creating individual families for each different sized sign. Using ths scale tool to create each size. The other option would be to export out the sign to 3D dwg, then import it into a planting family. Then nest that planting family into another planting family. This will essentially give you the ability to scale the sign as you see fit. You'll also need to set your family category and parameters to not make use of either RPC or the plant library if rendered. HTH.

Mr. Spot, I came up with something a little more crazy, tell me what you think. WHat if I create a rectangular mass and then on top of that create a void with the negetive of the sign so that it will punch out the letters? This way it will be confined to two masses rather than a different mass for each letter. Gar
