I'm currently cleaning up a model done by others, and I've run into a very bizarre Visibility issue.  I'm using Revit 2017.  I'm trying to lay out interior elevations of a U-Shaped Kitchen and it's driving me a little batty.  The interior elevations facing North and East show everything correctly, but the West facing elevation shows the shelves and drawer boxes through doors and drawer faces, as if it where on wire frame or transparent.

Details:

1) I'm using the same 2 casework families on both sides of the kitchen

2) The elevation cut plane does not intersect the casework for either elevation.

3) I have the same view template, with the same model overrides for both views.

4) The Far Flipping settings are the same, and the Far Clip Offsets are beyond the back face of the casework for both elevations

5) There are no view specific graphic overrides in either elevation.

6) There are no design options at play, and they are both using the same phase filter.

Literally the only difference between the two elevations is the direction that they are facing.  I've included two images, one showing the East Elevation and the desired graphic, and the other showing the West Elevation with it's issues.

Did you mirror these units from side to side when placing?  Try placing a new one.

WWHub,

They're individually placed.  Created new instance each time.  That was one of the first things I tried actually.

I've also tried duplicating the error in a new file, yet can't see to replicate it.

Delete the view and create a new one.

Is wireframe on by accident?

Beaucoupnice,

Both are using the same view template with the model display override set to hidden line, and no transparency for the casework category.

WWHub,

I've tried recreating the view.  I tried removing all of the casework families and replacing them on by one.  None of the cabinets are backwards.  That's the problem.  They are showing as if they were, but only in views facing west.  I started a new project to test it, and tried to replicate the error, but can't.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's not just a bug in that particular file, as I've never seen this issue, while using these families in other projects.  I've run an audit, but that didn't help.

At this point, I'm editing the casework families themselves, turning the visibility off in Front/Back views for the 3D elements and adding symbolic lines/ masking regions to achieve a clean view.
