I'm trying to create bump-outs on my facade.  In some areas these bump-outs will accommodate columns, but in other areas, the framing will just maintain consistency across the facade.  Therefore, the wall area I'm having trouble visually representing is where the bump-out framing is tying into the continuous wall framing (see below).  How can I trim out the lines representing the brick, insulation, plywood behind the bump-out framing (essentially creating a void between the framing)?  Thanks for your help

I think the 'Cut Profile' tool under View > Graphics is your answer.

…or, use two walls for your main wall – structural wall and exterior finish (brick) and then just run the brick wall from bump-out to bump-out.

Thanks for the replies!  I can't believe it didn't occur to me to just make two wall types!  Thanks again!
