Hi. We have a Japanese client who have very detailed needs.
The project is creating Family furniture in Revit 2016.
One major issue we encounter is this requirement:
Setting the default family type. For instcane in one Family file, we have 10 types of that family (variable materials). They wanted the default family type no. 3rd in the types list (for example). i can set it in the family, save it like that, no problem. but when it is going to be loaded in the project. the default loaded family is the no. 1 in the list. the first type in the list of 10, not the third. the thumbnail shows the third but the loaded family is not the default.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks!

Add a category parameter to the furniture in the project and use that to sort this catagory.
