I've created a sliding door panel, and when I attach an image for the panel finish it comes in centered on the door panel.  How do I change the insertion point of the image file???  I'm using Revit LT 2014.

Is this image one item that should cover the whole door?  If so then don't use a material, use a decal.

The image is just supposed to cover the door panel, not the track or frame.  I've never used decals before, can you pick which surface you want them to be applied to?

A decal is face based.  If your panel is a seperate face, then the decal will only be placed there.

Be sure you understand decals... they only show in 3D views, not 2D elevations.

A decal won't work then, I need the image to show up in a 2d elevation.  Any other ideas?

You need to associate a model hatch with your material.   Then you can use that in a 2D view to adjust where your pattern file is.

Look here and here and here.
