Hey, so I received a really advanced rvt file, and was asked to do a Material Takeoff from it. The thing is that when I compare it to the finishes schedule I have on Excel, there are LOTS of materials added/missing/with-slightly-different-names. Is there a way to know where each material is applied, so I can check what the problem is for each and fix the schedule? I thought of using filters to remove the ones I didn't need, but I would need to add a ton of different filter rules and I'd rather not.
I'm using Revit 2018.1
Thanks!

You can begin with your material schedule like this.

Hi WWHub, that post does not answer my question, but I've already found the answer anyways: There's a "Highlight in Model" button that came in really handy.
