Hey everybody

I have a locked 3d view of a building and I am trying to make a level tag for the floors, in constrains I have the floor specified but I can't find any solution to tag that... Have somebody tried to tag levels in 3D view or is it possible such a thing?

Note: I am not trying to get the elevation but the name of the level.

Any help is more than welcome.

Best regards,

Mois

You can't tag a 'level' in a 3D view but you can tag a floor.

You are talking about a 'spot elevation', not a level.  Learning what term is used where will help you a lot.

Think about this :  How does Revit know what you are pointing to?  Revit needs you to find something it can recognize.  Typically for floors, you need to find an edge.  Once the edge is tagged, the tag can move.

Spot elevation would work to see the measurment of the elevation on a floor asfar as I know, I need to tag the level name, something like in the attached picture.

I answered that before, you can't tag a level in a 3D view.

Look into creating a spot elevation tag that is relative with appropriate text.
