Hey guys.

Pretty new to revit. I'm trying to load "Curtain Wall-Store Front-Dbl" as a door, but when I click it I get an error message that says "This family is not of the correct category". Any help is appreciated.

Curtain wall doors are special doors.  They are built as a curtain wall panel to be placed as a substitute for a panel in a curtain wall.  As such, there size is not governed by type but the take on the size of the panel they are substituted for.  Load the door into your project, place a curtain wall, then pick a panel and there you will be able to pick your door.

Thanks, got it working. Another problem though. I have some spare curtain panels floating around my project I was playing around with while trying to get this door working and now I can't seem to delete  or move them. Any idea?

Not enough information.  You don't delete panels, you can delete the curtain wall.
