Hello,
I will admit that I am certainly still learning when it comes to materials in my 2013.
Right now, i'm just trying to put some Green raised panel shutter next to my stock windows.
I can't find shutters in revit anywhere.
So I have found something in Revit city but there doesn't seem to be materials involved.
I tried painting (did learn how to make a new paint material) them, but that doesnt work.
I'm thinking the shutters I downloaded need materials assigned to them in the family editor?
Maybe I'm answering my own question!
Does anyone know if there are any raised panel shutters in 2013?
Thanks,
Gary

Edit your shutter family and look at the solid elements to see what material is assigned there. That material will be in your project.
