Hi Revit experts;

We are using Revit 2017.2; file-based worksharing.

The central model overrides by itself - it restores a two-month old copy instead the current file. It happened with different projects, different users.

We know how to create a new central from a local copy. We don't know WHY IT HAPPENS.

Please help.

My first response "...overrides by itself..." <<< is that I doubt this very much.   Without any other knowledge given, I suggest that you re-examine the process of all of your users.

You haven't told us how many users, their knowledge level, how long you have been using Revit.  This would be a good start.

Sit down with your staff .... someone is over-writing the central.

Thanks.

 But it happened several times with different projects. Plus the same happens with AutoCAd files.

If it crosses programs, then it must be a system level problem .... or still a staff issue.  It is for sure not a program issue.
