I am starting a new project on Revit, I'm using the Default Electrical Template, but when I link the Revit file of a building, it becomes into a transparent building and I can see everything beyond the structure.
I used the Revit 2016 and I have the same problem.
If I use a different template (Mech, Arch or Struc) I don't have that Issue, but I need to use the electrical one.
There's a picture attached to make it more clear,

The view you posted is not transparent.
Views are controlled by templates and by discipline and then by VG settings or filters. I do not see a template applied. Setting your discipline to coordination will change how this view is shown but that may not be what you want.
