Hi, I can't cut a wall end to a certain angle using a void extrusion, in Revit 2018. I've tried in a new project, empty, just a wall from level 1 to 2, and an inplace family void extruded in the end of the wall as a 45 degree triangle. The error message says "Some Void Forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted. To make a Void Form cut something else use the Cut Geometry tool." I've tried making the void larger than the wall, smaller, longer, shorter... Always the same message. Thanks.

The message pops when I try to finish the void make with the "OK" green mark.

First, the void actually has to intersect the solid, then do what pijpiwo writes.

The void intersects the wall, I can see in the 3d view. I follow Autodesk video step by step but when is time to finish, I get the error message... Is it a bug or am I missing something?
