Hi, I have a Curtain Wall Family in which I would like to draw a sort of plate in front of it (see Picture). I'd like to control the height and Width of that plate with shape handles: I added ref planes, a dimension and labelled that dimension with an instance parameter. By doing that, I get the shape handles when the Family is loaded in a project BUT when I grab it and try to move it, the geometry won't change... Is that a Revit issue: shape handles won't work for a family IN a curtain wall or something like that (in which case, is there a workaround?) Or did I just do something wrong? Couldn't find anything about that "issue" anywhere... Best regards David

Curtain wall components are very special and work in limited ways.  What you want will not work in a CW panel, you will have to take another approach.   If you better describe what you want overall, we may be able to help.

I was actually just asking to know if this specific approach would work in any way (functioning shape handles for a curtain wall). I already have another solution, which is manually writting dimensions instead.

I was just asked to draw it with shape handles and because I could see them appear but not work, I thought it might be a bug, something I forgot or didn't draw correctly. But thanks.

I'll keep looking into that, if anyone has a solution I'm interested!
