This is my first thread so bare with me.

Currently working with linking an MEP revit set into our architectural set. Through the visibility settings, i am able to view all HVAC, Plumbing, Lightfixtures, etc. as they live in the linked MEP file. They show up on my RCP plans as they are displayed in the MEP file. Everything seems to be the way it is in the file. But. what I am not seeing is these same models which show up in the RCP plan dont show up on any elevation views. All visibility and graphics settings appear to be the same in both view templates. But nothing shows up in any sections or elevations. Is there a way to have these linked files show up on elevations?

First, look at your view template (if applied) then to your VG settings.  If the elements are model elements, then they should show but if they are just 2D ..... sorry.

Thanks for the reply. The elements in the MEP file that I am linking are all model entities. I can "copy/paste" the elements into the same location on our architectural model, and in section/elevation/plan they show up in every view. But for some reason, when linking the MEP file to ours, the info only shows up in plans and not in any elevation or section that I already have in our arch central file.

If what you say is true, then you have them turned off in VG.  Remember, the linked model VG can be controlled independent of the host model.
