Hi all,
is there a command like VISRETAIN in REVIT aswell.
if i change my linked dwg's outside revit and reload them , than all layer changes / visibility settings are neglected!
is there a way how to retain those settings?
grtz

Yes but you have to LINK the files and make sure the option to Preserve Graphic Overrides is checked. Take a look at the image. The first is found via File menu > Import/Link > CAD Formats and the second is part of the File menu > Manage Links dialog.

In version 9.1 the "Preserve Graphic Overrides" is only on the CAD tab not the Revit tab under the Manage Links command. So how does it work for the Revit links? I have the "Preserve Graphic Overrides" checked on the CAD tab but when I reload the Revit model all the settings get messed up and I have to go back and reset them all.
