I am trying to use revit to design an indoor climbing wall and I am having a difficult time using revit to fully control the design. Mainly the design is comprised of large geometric flat triangles or quadrilaterals see attached image. I have an introductory understanding of massing. I am hoping someone could walk me throught the process of how they would approach this or provide any resources that would be beneficial.

Thanks in advance

Realizing that my first post was a bit broad here are a few specifics issue I am running into:

· When I move into xray view or select a vertex and pull a side it creates irregular panels that are not flat. Is there a way to pull the vertex to preserve flat surfaces.

· I am not able to create more than one edge on a flat surface, I can't make an edge off of a created edge.

· When I divide the surface the surface, areas overlap where panels meet.  It is strange because the triangles are curved on the intersecting sides and not actually triangles.

· After I host walls onto the mass how should I deal with two intersecting walls to clean the overlapping walls?(see screen shot attachment) Is there a way to combine a mass in place and conceptual mass into one?

I have found that using sketchup is easier to create the mass but I feel like it shouldn't be. I am importing from Sketchup as a workaround but I would rather not because I like the massing environment better in revit as I can be more accurate with specific angles.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
