Is it possible to assign an area reporting parametric to filled region.  I use regions to indicate impervious surfaces on site plans and wish to create a way to get several area parametrics to add up in chart.

Any ideas?

I can totally relate and In REVIT 2018 I believe you can 'schedule' filled regions. That would probably do it.

Other than that, although it doesn't automatically update, I have created a Project Parameter for Detailed Items named Filled Area. Then I click the filled region and manually transcribe the read only area of the filled region to my new project parameter Filled Area.

Then add the text 'Area Calc' to the comments property of each filled region you want to measure.

Then create a schedule of detail items and add the Filled Area parameter and the Comments parameter.

Then Filter the schedule for Comment equals > Area Calc.

Then at least you have a schedule but you still need to manually enter the area as they get updated.

Then maybe add another Project Paramter named Area Type to detail items if you want to differentiate one area type from the other.

Or use just REVIT 2018 lol . . . . .
